Being a musician...

Becoming a musician is no joke. Although it is fun, it is a lot of work and takes real dedication. Your child will be required to practice at home, come to rehearsals each week even if they are tired and go to a few outside of school rehearsals in another location (Band and Choir). You, as a parent must help them stay motivated and keep them practicing. You must make sure they get to all extra practices. They will not be allowed to quit as soon as it gets hard. But, you will see that after one year of special music classes, students feel a real sense of accomplishment and are very proud of themselves for their hard work.
