The Beach Court After-School Visual Arts classes are run by  Sonia Ramirez: 

Sonia Ramirez is a Mexican American artist. Sonia has been teaching and assisting art classes for the Denver Art Museum, Denver Public Schools and the Denver Public Library, for over 10 years. She is currently part of the Beach Court Community. Sonia has been doing art for over 15 years and participated in numerous exhibitions throughout the community of Denver. Her classes consist of creating art using multiple media, learning about art from different cultures and art history. She provides guidance and structure with the flexibility to allow each child to grow in their own creative way.

Classes are every Monday after school for K-2nd graders and Thursday for 3rd - 5th graders.  If your child loves art, they will enjoy these classes where they will be able to dive more deeply into art, studying artists and using different mediums.  There will be a time for students to present their art as well.  The cost for art classes and materials is $20 a month.  Please reach out if payment is a problem.
